Character Design

When designing characters, an artist must think about the criteria and context of the design. "What is the story? The age group or target audience? Is the medium a graphic novel or animated 3-D character?" The purpose of the design, and what it will be used for, informs the design process. After some of these questions have been answered, then the research and design exploration begins. The challenge with character design is to try and create a unique design that not only looks interesting, but also exhibits a little personality.

More characters on their way, every few months.
